Best diet plans/exercises to lose fat/gain muscle?

I am overweight thanks to inactivity. I was in a auto wreck 3 years ago and had restricted mobiliity for 8 months causing fat gain/muscle loss. I am extremely determined to get this off, and have lost 40 lbs because March by rising activity.

I’m a vegetarian but I do get adequate protein (FYI, for these who could say More PROTEIN)

I have a quite low all-natural testosterone level so I inject weekly with prescribed Depo-Testosterone. This causes my levels to spike to above average levels. Since beginning the hormones, I have noticed a lot of development in my leg and arm/shoulder muscles.

Currently, I do 20-30 min of cardio five-6 days a week and do light lifting for 15 min each and every other day and heavier lifting for 15 min the other days.

My goal is to lose yet another 30 lbs of fat but acquire muscle as properly. At my existing weight 30lbs of fat loss would put me at an excellent size for my frame. Fortunately the Testosterone makes this a far more attainable target than if I were not on the injections

So what do individuals advocate for very good fat loss/muscle growth workout and diet program smart? I’m open to all ideas. I am really severe on undertaking this the appropriate way to far better my general good quality of life and enhance my self esteem.

Note: I’m also on prescribed amphetamines for my ADHD so I get bursts of power in the morning and mid afternoon.

If you’re looking to push on with your routine, then a good way to maintain weight-loss is to ‘shock’ your system. When you do your 20-30 mins of cardio, don’t let it become routine – change the work rate and speed of your exercise so that your body is forced to adapt each time your exercise.

As for the muscle building, it has to be said that 15 minutes will not do an awful lot, if anything. To build muscle, you need to work hard for at least 30 minutes on each muscle group, preferably split each day. It is also important to work each aspect of the muscle group – any movement you make is supported by muscles so those (less used even) muscles have to grown in tandem with the others.

Losing weight is not as easy as it may seem. I’m an overweight woman too, 2 years ago. So I know how hard to lose weight is.

A friend told me about Zone Diet Plan and I wrote it in my blog, just in case you or others who may be interested.
