do you burn fat then gain muscle?

I am seeking forward to loosing weight but i have alot of muscle underneath. I’ve been operating a mile 6 days of the week and doing some kind of abs workout following i run. Am i going to burn fat and acquire muscle this way? Or obtain muscle as i burn fat?

    Yes….ME….you’ll burn the fat first. It’s very hard to do both at the same time. It requires a very strict watchful diet such as 1700 calories a day on days you don’t work out and 3000 to 3500 on days you do…and that;s really hard to follow. The body likes fat as a burning energy source. It can burn muscle as well, but it prefers fat. Keep up the good work. you’ll soon notice a difference you’ll like looking at….
