How to lose weight but gain muscle?

I want to shed weight and reduce my body fat percentage. I’ve lost weight this week but I’ve also lost muscle so my physique fat percentage has actually increased.
I’m consuming about 1500calories a day so i’m not depriving my body of power.

What can I do to continue to lose weight but not muscle?
I am a 19 year old female 132lbs and 5’5

    You sound like a goo weight to me for your height.

    But if you want to get more muscle, you just eat more protein. Protein feeds your muscles, while your body burns fat. So if you lower your carb intake and eat more protein, your body will gain a lot more muscle and shed fat.

    Proteins = eggs, chicken, beef, pork, vegetables and lentils.

    Just don’t ever start counting calories… Oh god it screwed up my life bad when i couldn’t stop then got anorexia…

    your weight is fine. but if your really keen on losing some weight you might want to hit the gym. do basic weightlifting excersises and maybe take a spin class, the bikes get really hard if you really want to challenge yourself. just do low weight and lots of reps. but seriously you sound fine. guys dont like girls who are really skinny. you sound like the perfect weight for your size
