I am 5 feet 7 inches and weigh 154 pounds. I started workout about 3 weeks back and have been sticking to it. I do both Cardio and Weight training. My diet is comprised of moderate Carbs and good enough protein (although not 1 gram / per pound , as recommended…about 60-70 grams every day)
Problem is, although I am gaining weight due to muscle increase ( I can see my back and arms putting on more muscle) , I am not loosing my belly at all ! I am growing more puffed up rather than getting lean and muscular..and now my morale is dropping down
Is it a fact that I cannot reduce fat and put muscles at the same time? Is it that I can either go slim or go puff ? I wish to loose my waist inches and at the same time, bulge my arms and chest..
