Is it good to run one day then lift the next day to build muscle and lose fat?

I am looking to shed fat and construct muscle and was asking yourself if it really is very good to run on my off lifting days so I am looking at each at three occasions a week

I am having surgery & am unable to exercise for the next 2 weeks. What diet would be best to not gain weight? ?

I do not want to acquire any weight, so I was wanting to know how I really should taylor my diet to stop weight obtain. I am unable to elevate my heart rate so I will be burning quite handful of calories. Any support would be appreciated.
